Paul asked himself one day, what are the most important traits of an attorney if he needed one. The answer is that no matter what the case is, he would want his attorney to fight, to not waiver, to exhaust every option to reach his goals, doing this till the end because everyone deserves a zealous defense, to be a straight shooter, and to know the result a client wants, knowing a clients goals, and doing what is necessary to achieve that result.
He has adopted this ethos and carries it with him every day. He began his career as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Winnebago County, Illinois. After joining private practice, Paul specialized in criminal defense having gone toe to toe with federal, state and local prosecutors. He has defended cases in Illinois in every county north of I-80. In 2024, Paul was named to the Top 5 Criminal Defense Attorneys Under 40 in Illinois.
Paul also practices in corporate, landlord tenant, and family law. He approaches every case with zero assumptions knowing that people do not look for us when all is well. Paul understands that these are people’s lives, and the case must be given the same respect as if he was the client. People have spouses, kids, siblings, homes, cars all the hallmarks of a family.
Paul respects every situation to reach the best outcome for his clients, looking through the trees to see his clients as people and not a name written on a judges note sheet. He takes pride in his ability to zealously represent his clients, never being intimidated by an opposing attorney.
No matter the area of law that a client needs representation, he brings that strong, unwavering tenacity to every client he represents. He currently resides with his gorgeous, wife and daughter and loves to spend time with his family, cooking and watching his Colorado Buffaloes.
