Anel Bautista is a positive force for good in the law and pursuit of justice. She is an invaluable team member for The Law Offices of Jenet G. Pequeno, LLC. Anel is a member of the Illinois Bar as she passed the Bar Exam on her first attempt in 2018. Anel’s legal experience with large financial institutions assists her in serving individual clients with their family law needs. Anel spent over ten (10) years in the banking industry, both as a paralegal and an attorney. She has brought this knowledge and experience to serve the clients at The Law Offices of Jenet G. Pequeno, LLC in family law, estate planning, and real estate.
Anel is a member of several local bar associations, as well as state and national. She is currently serving a second term as Director on the board of the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers and is an active member of the Geneva Women’s Club. She is fluent in written and spoken Spanish. Anel enjoys reading (especially historical fiction books), cooking (mostly gluten-free and vegetarian recipes), crafting, traveling around the world, and going on long walks with her dog Philippe.
